One charm per person, one tag per bag. Tap it with a phone — or scan the QR — and it opens whatever trip your group is on. The charm holds no Wi-Fi password and no door code, so writing it once is enough: it keeps working next trip, and the trip after that.

1 Your group

Comes from your Stay Card. Keep it — it's the name on every charm.

This is baked into every tag and QR you print, so it has to be the public address — not a preview or a local one.

2 Write this to the beads

Every charm in your group gets this exact same link. It carries your group code and nothing else.

Writing an NFC sticker

  1. Get NTAG213 stickers. Round 25mm ones sit inside a bead perfectly. Any pack of "NFC stickers NTAG213" works — roughly 20–50¢ each.
  2. Install NFC Tools (free, iPhone and Android).
  3. Write → Add a record → URL. Paste the link above, then Write and hold your phone against the sticker until it confirms.
  4. Test it with a second phone before you seal anything into resin.
  5. Lock it (Other → Lock tag). This stops anyone re-pointing your charm somewhere nasty. It is permanent — that's fine here, because the link never needs to change.
Locking can't be undone, so test first. And keep the sticker off metal — metal detunes the coil and the tap stops working. Wood, resin and silicone are all fine.

3 Print the faces

Cut these out and seal them into resin beads, glue them to wooden discs, or slide the tags into a luggage-tag sleeve. The QR on the back is the fallback for anyone whose phone won't tap.

Print at 100% / Actual size — not "fit to page", or the discs come out the wrong size. There's a 50mm bar on the sheet so you can check it with a ruler.
